Serves as a drug information resource to pharmacy, nursing, and medical staffs as well as to patients. Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in pharmacy degree from accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Requires a current pharmacist license from state of practice.
  • Preferred Experience: Two or more years clinical experience and a PGY-1 residency is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with members of the health care team to provide safe and effective drug therapy.
  • Serve as a drug information resource to pharmacy, nursing, and medical staffs as well as to patients.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
