About The Position

7a-3:30p / PRN PRN Registry clinical specialist offering coverage to areas such as solid organ transplant (including patient education), critical care (neuro, medical, surgical, cardiac), infectious diseases, heart failure, internal medicine, and oncology. Description Functions as a clinical expert in a specialty practice area (e.g. oncology, transplant, critical care, and/or nutrition support). Assesses and evaluation drug therapy and makes recommendations as appropriate. Serves as a preceptor for students and residents and serves as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
  • ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience. BPS certified preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

  • BPS certified preferred.
