Registry clinical pharmacy specialist to cover clinical areas as needed. Coverage areas may include oncology, solid organ transplant, patient education, heart failure, internal medicine, infectious diseases, critical care (MICU, CICU, CVICU, Neuro, CCU, SICU, etc.), and other clinical needs. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
  • ASHP-ACCREDITED PGY1 and PGY 2 residencies or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.

Nice To Haves

  • BPS certified preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a clinical expert in a specialty practice area (e.g. oncology, transplant, critical care, and/or nutrition support).
  • Assesses and evaluation drug therapy and makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • Serves as a preceptor for students and residents and serves as a resource for pharmacists advancing their clinical skills.
