Clinical Pharmacist Specialist - Research- 40/hrs, Day Shifts (Temple Hospital)
About The Position
Responsible for procurement, receiving, storage, handling, dispensing, manufacturing, compounding, necessary repackaging of medications, inventory control, and audits. Performs and maintains all required documentation of investigational drug use. Assists in budgeting process and billing functions associated with investigational drug studies. Provides introductory education to pharmacy students and pharmacy residents in the investigational drug process. When required, trains pharmacists on the handling, preparation, distribution, and documentation for investigational drug studies These responsibilities encompass pharmaceutical research in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or PharmD Required
- PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or a relevant combination of education and experience Required
- 3 years experience in institutional practice or PGY1 residency Required
- PA Pharmacist License Required
