About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at Children's Hospital Colorado plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, appropriate, and economical use of medications in pediatric patient care. This position focuses on optimizing outpatient medication regimens and creating pharmacy ambulatory care services within the Denver Metro Network of Care. The specialist will collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and ensure effective medication management.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
  • Two (2) years of residency experience or one (1) year of residency plus three (3) years of work experience.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Certification required within 3 years of start date in position.
  • BLS certification from an accepted provider.
  • State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Pharmacy license.
