About The Position
Seeking Clinical Pharmacist Specialist- Emergency Medicine! Baptist Health Floyd, Pharmacy Services Full-Time (40 Hours/Week), Four Days (8:30am-7pm) Baptist Health Pharmacy services are committed to ensuring the optimal safe and effective use of medications for all patients through advanced technology and innovative application of skilled personnel that will improve clinical outcomes and community health in a value-based environment. What You'll Do: Provide pharmaceutical care to support antimicrobial stewardship for Baptist Health Floyd patients with infectious diseases including optimizing medication therapies Drug preparation and distribution for medications at Baptist Health Floyd Evaluate, input, and verify new medication orders Assist providers and other healthcare professions by serving as a drug information resource Manage Pharmacy inventory
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy
- Indiana Pharmacist Registration
- ACLS Certification (Will Provide)
Nice To Haves
- PharmD
- Hospital experience and completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency
- Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy, Infectious Disease or equivalent
Responsibilities
