In this role as a Clinical Pharmacist, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. Through various assignments within the department, they provide support of centralized and decentralized medication-use systems as well as deliver optimal medication therapy to patients with a broad range of disease states. Clinical Pharmacists adeptly function in pharmacy operational areas, including but not limited to central dispensing pharmacies, satellite dispensing pharmacies, and specialty pharmacy areas. Job Summary Responsible and accountable for the provision of safe and effective drug therapy and other pharmaceutical care services intended to achieve outcomes related to the cure, diagnosis or prevention of disease, elimination or reduction of patient’s symptoms, or arresting or slowing of a disease process, and improve a patient’s quality of life in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. The pharmacist also assumes the responsibility for pharmacy technicians that work directly under his/her supervision by ensuring the proper preparation of drug products and managing the workflow.
