The Clinical Pharmacist position at Texas Health Southlake is a PRN role within the Pharmacy Department.   • Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
  • Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
  • Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation.
  • Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives.
  • Ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Management of one's own time and sharing the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. is required.
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • No experience required, but 3 years of hospital experience or residency is preferred.
  • 2 years of hospital pharmacist experience is strongly preferred.
  • PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire is required.
  • Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
  • Attention to detail, a strong sense of ethics, commitment to quality, time management, and technology knowledge.
