About The Position

Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcome and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university.
• License to practice pharmacy in Alabama.
• Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Proof of current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
• Proficiency in mathematics.

• Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical practice strongly preferred.
