About The Position

A key member of the pharmacy department team, this position requires a wide array of interpersonal as well as organizational skills. This person is responsible for accurate management of dispensing and clinical functions within the department, supervising technician and support personnel, provision of information to other professionals, computer order entry, and provision of appropriate patient care as a member of the pharmaceutical care team. Job responsibilities and assignments may vary with demonstrated skills and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • One year of related experience
  • Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures
  • Georgia Pharmacist Licensure
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Ability to interact and work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work well in high-stress situations
  • Computer skills in various program requirements
  • Professional and pleasant demeanor when dealing with departmental, interdepartmental, and public personnel

  • Certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is recognized
