Job Summary Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital is Growing! The Children's Pharmacy team seeks a residency trained Clinical Pharmacist to join our 118 bed NICU team. Minimum training/experience include PGY1 Residency and 2 to 3 years experience in NICU. Preferred training/experience: PGY2 training or Fellowship. Schedule: 5-8 hour shifts, days. On-call rotation, every 8 to 9 weeks. Position develops, implements, and monitors clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care with an additional focus on decreasing cost; provides clinical services to patients and professional staff; interacts with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment. May be asked to assist in supervising the activities of all department employees in consultation with the department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.
