About The Position

As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we have four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US. We’re looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to play a key role in supporting clinical trials and ensuring the safe and compliant handling of investigational products. If you join us, you will work with some of the world´s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug. Whilst allowing you to practice your clinical skills and knowledge, you´ll be involved with the latest medical technologies and treatments, witnessing their development firsthand. WHAT YOU WILL DO You will utilize your skills, knowledge, and clinical judgement to provide a high standard of clinical research.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist or PharmD in applicable state. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • 2 years in a pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of GxP standards (GMP, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sponsors to ensure pharmacy and dispensing capabilities meet study requirements.
  • Review and contribute to study protocols, pharmacy manuals, and preparation documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and good dispensing practices.
  • Oversee pharmacy equipment and manage routine preparation activities.
  • Support Sponsor visits and foster strong professional relationships.
  • All other duties as needed or assigned.
