About The Position

The clinical pharmacist for ED will be a unit-based pharmacist that will verify the orders and provide clinical services for trauma, adult and pediatric emergency departments. They will be a drug information resource for the nurses, physicians, patients, and families. The clinical pharmacist will be expected to fulfill staff pharmacist responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree required.
• Pharmacy practice residency in emergency medicine or equivalent hospital experience (3 postgraduate years) with board certification
• Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida
• Pharmacy license
• BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required)
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other specialty corresponding with practice area.
