The Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the ED and all associated areas (eg. Pediatrics, Trauma, Urgent Care) including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation. In addition to the primary job duties listed above, the ED pharmacist may be crossed-trained to assist with additional duties in the pharmacy. Such duties may include but are not limited to: medication order entry and verification; completion of various clinical reports; and other duties as assigned.

  • BS Pharm OR Pharm D required
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered pharmacist in Ohio.
  • Current OARRS access.
  • Current CPR - BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • Advanced training - residency, fellowship and/or board certification preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in Emergency strongly preferred.
