About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist – BMT / Oncology for a permanent opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada. The BMT/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist primarily supports the Cancer Care Clinic while also rotating through the inpatient BMT/Oncology unit. This role works in close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to deliver advanced pharmaceutical care for hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, biotherapy, and immune effector cellular therapy patients. This position is specifically designed to support the Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at MountainView Hospital. The pharmacist will collaborate directly with specialty physicians and nursing teams to coordinate oncology treatment regimens for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation, blood cancers, CAR T-cell therapies, and BiTE therapies. Responsibilities include therapeutic drug monitoring, patient counseling, protocol development, and clinical intervention support. The pharmacist is expected to serve as a subject-matter expert within the BMT/Oncology space. The leadership culture supports autonomy, independent clinical decision-making, and professional judgment. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining order sets, protocols, and clinical guidelines; supporting research initiatives; participating in quality improvement projects; and representing pharmacy services on medical center committees.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
Active Nevada Pharmacist License required.
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) REQUIRED.
PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Practice Residency OR
Minimum of 5 years of clinical oncology pharmacy experience required.
Practice experience in a BMT/Oncology clinic with a collaborative practice agreement required.
