This is a full time rotating shift Clinical Pharmacist position at Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. This position exists to provide comprehensive, value based, medication-related care to achieve definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life. The incumbent acts in collaboration with healthcare professionals in the shared responsibility for patient drug therapy outcomes. Key job duties may consist of ensuring safety and effectiveness of the medication use process, processing and dispensing medications per order or prescription, medication therapy monitoring, regulatory compliance, maintaining oversight over pharmacist extenders, maintaining the security of medications, and protecting the confidentiality of patient information. Additionally, is competent at providing drug information support for medical staff, ensuring continuity of care, and identifying potential challenges in common situations.

  • Provide comprehensive, value-based, medication-related care to improve patient quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient drug therapy outcomes.
  • Ensure safety and effectiveness of the medication use process.

  • Monitor medication therapy and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Current Indiana License or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a pharmacist.
  • Successful completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 and/or PGY2 pharmacy residency may be required.
