About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist-Inpt is responsible for analyzing, dispensing, compounding, monitoring, and recommending appropriate pharmaceutical care for patients of all ages. Work is accomplished in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state and federal authorities as well as accepted standards of practice. Assists in the training and education of new pharmacists, technicians, students, and residents. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from a school of pharmacy accredited by American Council of Pharmaceutical Education with Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required.
• PharmD is required if Pharmacist is assigned to work in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).
• Registered and licensed Pharmacist by the State of California required.
• Able to read, write legibly, speak in English with professional quality
• use computer for data input, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
• troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment
• perform technical patient care activities.
