About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist at UTHealth Houston will be responsible for delivering Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM) programs to patients at community-based clinics. This role involves pharmacy dispensing services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements

• Current licensure with Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• One year of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy dispensing services to patients and contracted entities using GSP inventory software.
• Receive financial clearance to dispense orders.
• Dispense research drugs according to good clinical practices and approved research protocols.
• Complete and fill all prescriptions during normal working hours, handling emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
• Ensure the pharmacy is stocked with necessary inventory and supplies, consulting with the Administrative Director as needed.
• Perform regular inventory reconciliation.
• Administer and update existing pharmacy procedures after consulting with the Administrative and Medical Directors.
• Meet all requirements to conform to State Board of Pharmacy Regulations and UTHSCH, including maintaining current records, work logs, and licenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
