About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist in the Inpatient Pharmacy at Billings Clinic is responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with advanced clinical training.
  • Current Montana Pharmacist license obtained at hire.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • ACLS Certification within 1 year of hire as deemed appropriate based on job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Familiarity with Collaborative Practice Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.
  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication use and clarify any questionable orders with physicians.
  • Check data entry, medication carts, and ADM fills for accuracy.
  • Work under Collaborative Practice Agreement (CPA).
  • Participate in clinical programs and functions as a clinical pharmacist as needed.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new employees, students, and residents, providing direction and clinical supervision of pharmacy technical staff.
  • Document and be accountable for all clinical pharmacy interventions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department/organization.
