The Clinical Performance Improvement Associate conducts formal clinical and operational performance improvement engagements and consulting services with our clients. Creates strategies for clients engaging in improvement opportunities as determined by the client to achieve the identified benefits.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of appropriate Clinical Experience.
  • Prior experience in process improvement and hospital leadership highly desired.
  • Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse OR current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina required.
  • BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal clinical and operational performance improvement engagements and consulting services.
  • Create strategies for clients engaging in improvement opportunities.
  • Use change acceleration process tools to achieve customers' goals.
  • Implement and build sustainment/control plans for solutions.
  • Build project approval and charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, dependencies, and resource assignments.
  • Track and analyze task completion, risk/issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Review and interpret clinical data as it relates to event reporting.
  • Complete or manage appropriate report and dashboard documents and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Report data to Clinical Registry.
  • Collect and interpret data provided from clinical registry reports.
  • Collect, review, and analyze data trends to develop positive outcomes.
  • Lead the development, implementation, coordination, and management of best practices, policies, and strategic clinical initiatives.
  • Provide project management and performance improvement support for clinical initiatives.
  • Examine data sets to provide analysis and interpretation of Adverse Events.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Quality Improvement (QI) Program initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data and consultation with stakeholders.
  • Manage or provide limited process improvement/transformation expertise for project teams.
  • Perform tasks related to quality improvement, rapid improvement events, and associated activities.
  • Utilize data analysis and quality improvement methods to assess root causes and issues.
  • Assist in continuous improvement training consistent with quality improvement standards.
  • Conduct improvement activities through the engagement of teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate rapid improvement events for standard work, improved flow, waste reduction, and error proofing.
