Reports to the Clinical Patient Access Manager or Patient Access Manager, the Clinical Patient Access Specialist is primarily responsible for relaying reviewed normal, expected, or abnormal results to patients and additionally following any Standard work development instructions as determined by the Clinical Patient Access Specialist Manager. The Clinical Patient Access Specialist will successfully manage large amounts of inbound calls while ensuring all pertinent medical information and care needs for patients are identified, documented, and communicated to the provider. The Clinical Patient Access Specialist is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, family members and other callers.
