About The Position

As a Clinical Partner at Cedars-Sinai, you will be responsible and accountable for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care for a specialty patient population. This role involves providing personal nursing care and performing routine assigned tasks under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). You will identify physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and report these findings to the RN. The Clinical Partner participates in the implementation of patient care and contributes to the care plan under the supervision of the RN, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, families, and significant others. A key aspect of the role is reducing the risk of healthcare-acquired infections by adhering to CDC hand washing guidelines and CSMC isolation policy, and safely using restraints as requested by the charge nurse or primary RN. You will also participate in initiatives aimed at reducing patient harm by following safety precautions. Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year previous experience as a Licensed CNA in an acute care facility.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • BLS Certification by the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross: Required.
  • BLS expiration date must be valid 60 days or more before start date.
  • California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification: Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Licensed CNA in a hospital or medical center strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
