About The Position

The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e. wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient-centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.02 - $22.13 / hour depending on experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• 2 years of experience preferred, particularly in an acute care facility in Florida.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility.
