DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Clinical Operations Training Specialist. The Clinical Operations Training Specialist I (COTS I) is responsible for collaborating within the Learning and Organizational Development (LOD); department managers; and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design DonorConnect clinical training and development materials. This includes clinical instruction and development programs in alignment with training program strategic initiatives. The COTS I will actively research, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate, enhance, and improve clinical employee performance and retention. The COTS I demonstrates expertise in LOD systems, established adult learning principles, DonorConnect educational methods and standards, in addition to compliance with regulatory requirements. Independently facilitates training programs alongside departmental leadership.   • Collaborate with Learning and Organizational Development (LOD), department managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design clinical training and development materials.
  • Research, design, and implement effective methods to educate and improve clinical employee performance and retention.
  • Facilitate training programs independently alongside departmental leadership.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience developing curricula, competency-based assessments, and training programs, or a minimum of 2 years of prior clinical experience at an OPO.
  • Minimum of two years' experience within a busy Training/Learning and Development department.
  • Ability to be well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail while balancing multiple priorities with different deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with PHI and data integrity standards.
  • Strong behavioral assessment, crisis intervention skills, and experience with de-escalation techniques.
  • Clinical or OPO experience preferred.
  • Preference may be given to those with clinical training experience.
  • Preference may be given to those with prior Instructional Design experience.
  • Obtains certification in CPTD, ATD, CMF within the first two years of position or is working towards certification.
  • Completes relevant continuous education courses (Udemy, Alliance, etc.) approved by departmental leadership.
