This leader will be providing some patient facing care, and must have at least 3 years of RN practice experience to be considered for an interview. Some Ambulatory RN experience is preferred but not required. Under the general supervision of the Division/Site Patient Care Operations Manager (PCOM), the Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Leader RN (ACNL), assists in overseeing the duties and responsibilities for the Registered Nurses, (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (C NAs), Medical Assistants (Mas), Patient Service Representatives (PSR). The Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Leader RN promotes and facilitates optimal care through clinical, administrative, professional, educational, and quality improvement activities. The position actively supports the Hospital's and the department's Continuous Quality improvement and Customer Service goals through modeling of Lurie Children's Service Principles, actively participating in High Reliability initiatives, and providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.
