About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals to join their Emergency Department leadership team in the role of Clinical Operations Manager. This role combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. The Clinical Operations Manager is accountable for translating and achieving strategic priorities and outcomes, including quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. They are also responsible for providing strategic vision and operational planning for their assigned unit, leading an interprofessional team to empower them towards excellence in patient and organizational outcomes, and advancing nursing practice by embedding evidenced-based practices and professional nursing standards. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN)
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred
