About The Position

The Clinical Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) service line across all clinic locations, driving program growth, optimizing operations, supporting providers and site leadership, and using data-driven decision-making to enhance patient access, quality of care, operational efficiency, and overall service line performance. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant clinical experience required Prior experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation is required Business development experience, preferred Skills Practical knowledge of PMR processes, both clinic and billing Experience in developing cooperative efforts is essential Excellent management skills Strong problem-solving, problem prevention, and decision-making skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proven success in implementing quality improvement initiatives, informed through the collection and analysis of patient data Excellent oral and written communication skills Uses good judgment and diplomacy when dealing with others Ability to maintain composure and restore calm in a stressful situation Working knowledge of computers and practice management software Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and maintain a corporate culture that supports the mission and values of Mayfield Clinic.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the PMR service line across all clinic locations; travel to different local health systems and/or Mayfield locations as needed.
  • Serve as a key member of the management team.
  • Participate in strategic planning and implementation of short and long-term organizational initiatives that support financial, budget and business goals.
  • Provide leadership and management expertise for the pain division to achieve service line goals.
  • Leads service line initiatives, supports clinic operations, and partners closely with providers and site leadership to coordinate provider coverage, address clinic needs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Identifies and executes growth opportunities, expanding services, and improving patient access across all PMR locations.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, advanced practice providers, therapy services, and administrative leadership, to ensure alignment of strategic goals, standardization of best practices, and efficient care delivery across sites.
  • Partner with the Medical Director, physicians, and providers to optimize clinic operations, including scheduling, provider coverage planning, and workflow efficiency.
  • Lead PM&R standardization efforts across all facilities.
  • Analyze departmental processes and procedures regularly and make recommendations for changes as needed to ensure effective and efficient operations
  • Analyze quality, operational, and financial performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, including volume, access, outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical standards, and organizational policies.
  • Assist the VP of Operations in the development of the annual financial plan, manage the operating expense budget for the division, and maintain expenditures within the approved budget.
  • Maintain effective interdepartmental relationships.
  • Conduct meetings and training as needed.
  • Collaborate on research endeavors with other health professionals.
  • Maintain and upgrade clinical skills and professional expertise through participation in professional organizations, workshop attendance, CEU activities, formal education, and current literature review.
  • Participate in research projects for clinical studies as requested.
  • Assist in clinical quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
