About The Position

The Clinical Operations Director (COD) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of multiple health centers in South Florida. This role requires a hands-on approach to manage a team of Health Center Managers and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining effective client relationships. The COD will act as a mentor and leader, guiding the team to achieve operational goals and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five years of healthcare management experience.
• Clear/active LPN or RN license with the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Regular travel between health centers and nearby locations.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and vendors.
• Engage in face-to-face client meetings and with clinical staff to review Key Performance Indicators.
• Assess operational progress and seek client feedback.
• Manage staff optimization to positively impact quality of care and overall patient experience.
• Coordinate and manage various client requests and events such as physicals, flu shots, VHPs, etc.
• Interact with Human Resources and Recruitment through the hiring, onboarding, and retention of new staff.
• Oversee the development and engagement of training initiatives, performance evaluations and succession planning.
• Nurture an environment of collaboration, professionalism, quality of care and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and enforce clinical policies and procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Participate in the development of strategic goals and objectives to align with company policies.
• Maintain responsibility for the control of planning, budgeting and staffing assigned health centers.
• Comply with budgets and manage schedules to adhere with company requirements.
• Propose ideas and methods in anticipation of new business needs.
• Monitor and safeguard compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
