About The Position

SonderMind is on a mission to make high-quality, personalized therapy accessible to everyone. As a Clinical Operations Associate, you will be a key contributor to the smooth execution of clinical programs and quality initiatives that directly impact our ability to deliver excellent care. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clinical projects run efficiently, quality standards are met, and data drives meaningful decisions. This role exists to support operational excellence across clinical initiatives, ensuring that the right processes, reporting, and workflows are in place to improve client outcomes and provider experiences.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare quality, or behavioral health technology.
  • 2+ years of project or program coordination experience, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and workflow tracking systems; experience with Salesforce or EMRs is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Data-literate, proactive, and able to engage with multiple teams to support operational and clinical objectives.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, or a related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with NCQA standards, HEDIS measures, or payer quality reporting is strongly preferred.
  • PMP training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical, customer support, product, and analytics teams to build scalable processes ensuring timely care for high-risk clients.
  • Triage daily clinical quality cases, including gaps in care, documentation requests, and member outreach, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Track and maintain key clinical quality metrics (HEDIS, STARs, preventive care measures) and support dashboards and internal reporting.
  • Assist with preparation, validation, and submission of payer-required quality reports.
  • Support planning and execution of clinical projects, including provider education and value-based care initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional tasks, maintain project trackers, and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor adherence to SLAs, workflows, and escalation protocols, flagging issues and supporting corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, audit-ready files, and evidence for quality programs and accreditation activities.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability of clinical programs.
