About The Position

The position involves providing constant observation and personal care for patients requiring one-to-one support. The caregiver will assist with daily living needs such as bathing, oral care, mobility, nutrition, and elimination. It is essential to document patient interactions and observations accurately, as well as identify and report any behavioral changes or safety concerns to the nursing staff. Maintaining a hazard-free patient environment and following safety protocols during transport is crucial. Additionally, the caregiver will support nursing assistants and serve as a preceptor for new team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to sit in quiet observation of patient for long periods of time without distraction
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient safety
