Plans, organizes, coordinates, and manages medical nutrition therapy activities within the institution. Monitors and provides direction/leadership to the clinical dietitians, diet office staff and other support staff as needed. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Develops, implements and reports quality assessment and process improvement activities. Serves on patient care committees. Oversees the operation and effectiveness of the diet office software. Functions as moderator for the Nutrition Support Team Committee and the Diabetes Working Group.
