About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager III to lead our nutrition team at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. Lake City is a beautiful city nestled in between Jacksonville and Gainesville, Florida. This is a 141-bed acute care hospital serving Columbia, Hamilton and Suwannee counties. Learn more visit: https://www.hcafloridahealthcare.com/locations/lake-city-hospital What You'll Do supervise Registered Dietitians in both full, part-time or PRN roles; drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects; provide direct patient care on a variety of units as needed; provide diet education to the food service staff, as well as interdisciplinary healthcare professionals; be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the depart on hospital wide committees; and serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed. Requirements

  • be a Registered Dietitian with FL state licensure
  • demonstrate a great acute care clinical knowledge base
  • have proven supervisory or management experience

  • have a strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • Minimum Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
