About The Position

Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) is seeking adjunct clinical nursing faculty for the Brunswick and South Portland campuses. The position involves approximately 9-12 clinical hours per week per semester, focusing on the supervision and instruction of associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Responsibilities include assigning patients who meet educational and clinical experience requirements, planning pre- and post-conferences, providing regular feedback to students for performance improvement, and conducting final clinical evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Maine RN licensure.
• Recent experience in Acute Care and/or Skilled Nursing Care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a lab setting.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Care settings.

Responsibilities
