About The Position
As the Theatre Shift Coordinator (Clinical Nurse) leads and manages theatre operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, staff allocation, and high-quality perioperative care. Acting as the clinical lead, you support the team, uphold safety and standards, resolve issues, and foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment in a fast-paced surgical setting. Position Profile In this position you will be working alongside other clinical nurses to: Provide leadership within the team Contribute to quality projects Contribute to the personal development of yourself and others Provide effective clinical care to allocated patients Provide a quality focused service
Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years recent scrub scout surgery experience
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and relevant clinical skills in Theatre
- Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of and participation in Quality Improvement process
- Knowledge of legislation and policies relevant to nursing practice in the current workplace
- Willingness to accept and promote Hollywood Core Values
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
