About The Position

The PACU Department Clinical Supervisor assists with the oversight of the monthly staff schedule to maintain adequate daily staffing levels. Participates in staff development/evaluation of competency, performance reviews, and counseling. Actively participates in the orientation, in-service training and continuing education of all personnel; maintains accurate and complete competency files. In collaboration with the manager, works with Medical Staff and other departments to ensure coordination and integration of clinical processes to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required.
• Charge nurse, supervisory expertise in department specific preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS (AHA) required, PALS (AHA) preferred.
• Basic EKG/Tele interpretation experience required OR completing a Basic EKG class within six months of employment.
• CPAN or CCRN preferred.
• CPI Certification within the first 90 days required.
