Clinical Nurse – Pain Management Clinic As Needed - Days – 1st Shift We Are Hiring: Clinical Nurse – Pain Management Clinic Schedule: 0730–1600 to 0800–1630. Monday through Friday. No weekends, holidays, or nights. Join a high-performing interventional pain management team delivering advanced, procedure-driven outpatient care. This is an opportunity to practice in a specialty environment while maintaining a predictable weekday schedule. Our Pain Management Clinic operates at two locations, Waukesha Memorial Hospital and the Outpatient Physician’s Center in Oconomowoc completing approximately 700 to 800 outpatient visits monthly. We provide a wide range of interventional procedures including epidural injections, facet injections, radio-frequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials and implants, and medication pump trials. You will work alongside anesthesiologists, a physician assistant, radiologic technologists, and a strong team of experienced RNs in a collaborative, team-based setting focused on precision, safety, and patient-centered outcomes. This pool position is ideal for nurses seeking flexibility while maintaining exposure to a specialized procedural environment. What You Will Do: Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care in an outpatient interventional setting. Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and procedural monitoring. Support sedation workflows and collaborate closely with anesthesiology providers. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and pain management plans. These nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by staffing matrices. These nurses also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.
