About The Position
This is a Bargaining Unit Position for Registered Nurses at MaineHealth. The position is full-time and requires working night shifts. The surgical intensive care unit (SICU) is where critically ill patients receive care, particularly those needing surgery or recovering from surgical procedures. The unit is managed by physicians with surgical backgrounds. The Clinical Nurse will support Maine Medical Center's mission and values by demonstrating excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, and accountability. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and community care.
