About The Position
Join our team of dedicated professionals and transform your nursing practice! The Apheresis unit is a specialized unit where patients undergo therapeutic procedures such as plasma exchange therapy, cell depletions, and red cell exchange. This unit also collaborates with the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program to collect stem cells for transplant. The patient population includes those with graft versus host disease, dermatological disorders, and lung transplant rejection, requiring Photopheresis. Procedures are carried out for both in-patient and outpatient adult and pediatric populations.
