Requirements

Clinical Nurse I’s at Magnet designated facilities only require a BSN or that a BSN program is started within one year of hire date and BSN degree is attained within two years of the starting the BSN program. BSN preferred.
For PACU, one year recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital or critical care unit preferred.
Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): One year recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital or critical care unit (Sub ICU and Emergency Department included) required
License Required: Registered Nurse in the State of California - Current and in good standing.
Certifications Required Current BLS certification prior to clinical rotation.
Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): ACLS and PALS.

Nice To Haves

Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) Pre-Op, OR and PACU: BSN preferred. Experience in orthopedics preferred. Successful completion of ECG Test required for Preop and PACU only.
Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) Pre-op and PACU: CNOR or CPAN.
Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): ASPAN certification.
