Clinical Nurse I – Perioperative Shape the Future of Surgical Care with Compassion and Expertise Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients during one of the most critical moments of their healthcare journey? Requirements

  • Clinical Nurse I’s at Magnet designated facilities only require a BSN or that a BSN program is started within one year of hire date and BSN degree is attained within two years of the starting the BSN program.
  • Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) Pre-Op, OR and PACU: BSN preferred.
  • Experience in orthopedics preferred.
  • Successful completion of ECG Test required for Preop and PACU only.
  • For PACU, one year recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital or critical care unit preferred.
  • Operating Room (OR): One year recent OR experience in an acute care hospital or recent completion of the Hoag Perioperative Training Program required.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of California - Current and in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification prior to clinical rotation.
  • Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) Pre-op (Perioperative) and PACU: ACLS.
  • HOI Surgery Center (OSCOC): ACLS and PALS

Nice To Haves

  • Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) Pre-op and PACU: CNOR or CPAN.
  • Operating Room (OR): CNOR.

  • Collaborate with resource experts to make informed, patient-centered choices.
