The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is a direct supervisory leadership role and a key member of the Nursing leadership team. The CNM is responsible for ensuring and delivering high quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in their assigned unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNM directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care according to established policies and procedures. They serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. The CNM also provides feedback and coaching to staff members, recognizing their contributions and fostering a high-performance culture.
