Short Description The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the day to day operations of the clinical unit. The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible to: Oversee assignments. Assist in quality and throughput goals. Support staff engagement by serving the unit in a consistent, supportive, and compassionate manner. Role model/mentor clinical staff to address patient needs effectively. Supports quality patient care and organizational priorities at the direction of the Clinical Director. Identify and support the elements of improved care quality care using HRO principles. Overview Pavilion 9 is a 30-bed cardiac medical/surgical and cardiac intermediate unit. Pavilion 9 staff care for complex cardiac patients including cardiac surgery patients, structural heart (TAVR), cardiac catheterization/coronary angioplasty, heart failure and other various cardiac processes. The Pavilion 9 nurses receive specialized training to care for our cardiac surgery populations

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting, with 1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing Required
  • NJ-RN: Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS & ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • CNL or AACN Specialty certification preferred.
