The medical center features a Level III-N trauma center, Level II Special Care Nursery, and Magnet® designation for nursing excellence, offering a full spectrum of services. Foundation Medical Partners, a multi-specialty group, includes over 500 providers across 70+ practices in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. The Pediatrics unit is an 8-bed inpatient unit caring for newborns through adolescents with conditions like viral/respiratory illnesses, diabetes, and post-operative needs. It emphasizes family-centered care and collaborates with pediatric specialists from Massachusetts General Hospital for Children. The unit can also care for adult patients to support hospital capacity. The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a 9-bassinet, Level II nursery for infants 32+ weeks gestation and weighing 1,500 grams or more. It provides specialized care for respiratory distress, temperature instability, and feeding/growth challenges, including Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screening in collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital and partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital NICU. The RN Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager – Pediatrics and Special Care Nursery (SCN) holds 24/7 leadership and operational oversight for both units. This role is a key member of the Patient Care Services leadership team, supporting professional nursing practice and ensuring safe, high-quality, family-centered care aligned with organizational goals. It is a hands-on, transformational leadership position requiring strong clinical expertise, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to quality, safety, and staff engagement.
