We’re looking for a collaborative, forward thinking nursing leader who is passionate about elevating outpatient care and advancing stroke program excellence. Reporting jointly to the Chief Administrative Officer and the Associate Chief Nurse of Ambulatory Operations, the Registered Nurse Leader provides clinical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction across outpatient areas and the Comprehensive Stroke Program. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative leaders to strengthen professional nursing practice, drive performance improvement, and support a culture of safety, quality, and compassion. Job Description: What You’ll Do Provide clinical leadership and direct patient care. Oversee nursing operations, workflows, staffing, and quality initiatives across outpatient areas. Recruit, hire, train, and support nursing staff; manage schedules, payroll, and performance. Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement care pathways, protocols, and best practices. Ensure smooth, coordinated patient experiences across the specialty service. Manage budgets, resources, equipment planning, and supply needs. Lead employment actions and supervise 7+ direct reports. Requirements Bachelor’s in Nursing required; Master’s preferred. Active RN license and AHA BLS certification. 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience; leadership experience a plus. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and team‑building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‑based systems. Work Environment Direct patient contact in outpatient settings. Requires physical activity, including lifting and patient repositioning. Occasional exposure to infectious diseases with appropriate PPE. The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Requirements
