Personalized care together with advanced technology is what it means to be Community Strong The Nurse Manager is a registered Professional Nurse responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care on 24/7 responsibility and accountability. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and leadership ability. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates the quality of nursing care identified by the Nursing Department and Nursing Director as appropriate to the ages of patients serve, based on the area of clinical practice This role is responsible for the administrative oversight and accountability of nursing personnel, professional nursing practice, patient experience, and quality outcomes within the assigned unit(s). The Nurse Manager ensures nursing care is delivered safely, consistently, and in compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, Joint Commission requirements, and professional nursing practice expectations. The role delivers people accountability, quality oversight, and cultural leadership by monitoring staff performance, patient experience, and quality indicators, and ensuring timely action and measurable improvement. This position partners closely with the Patient Experience Team, Nursing Professional Development, Quality, Risk/Performance Improvement, Human Resources, Employee Health, and senior leadership to ensure sustained excellence, regulatory readiness, nurse retention, and positive patient outcomes.
