About The Position

The Clinical Nurse at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the Outpatient Treatment Center, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process. This role involves leadership, collaboration with healthcare teams, and participation in quality improvement initiatives to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Active, Current CA RN License.
• Associate degree in nursing and must complete a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing within two years of the hire date.
• A minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience within an acute health care environment or in an outpatient infusion environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational ability and knowledge of proper body mechanics and safety measures.

Nice To Haves

• BSN Specialty Nursing Units experience or ability to complete a training program.
• Current Chemotherapy-Biotherapy certification.
• Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates.
