About The Position

El Camino Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to apply nursing processes and theories, along with principles of psycho-social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. This role emphasizes striving for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and Hospital/departmental policies. The Clinical Nurse II is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and for care consistent with the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing. The position requires collaborative work with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient care and outcomes, while supporting service excellence and a healing environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must have recent clinical nursing experience in area of specialty (Emergency Department MV).
  • Registered Nurse License - California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association.
  • Ability to communicate in English and to perform potentially complex speaking, reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate appropriately.

Responsibilities
