Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Operating Room team at our Jossie Robinson Surgery Center. This role supports high-acuity inpatient cases and is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based nursing care in the Operating Room and works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the multidisciplinary care team to support complex inpatient procedures. Nurses in this role are responsible for scrubbing and circulating and will support a variety of cases rather than performing repetitive procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidates must hold a New York State RN license and a BSN.
  • 1.5 – 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
  • Proactive and reliable team player with a strong dedication to patient care.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress, high-acuity situations effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Operating Room experience in an acute care, inpatient setting is preferred.
  • Scrubbing and circulating are preferred skills.
  • CNOR certification is preferred but not required.
