The Clinical Nurse I is a professional care worker who is responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating safe, effective individualized nursing care to critically ill patients and supportive care to significant others. Assess patient’s needs and pain, implements, and evaluates nursing care according to established standards. These activities require nursing judgment based on application of scientific principles of nursing, problem solving, and teaching/learning. 6 East is a medical/surgical /tele unit offers its services to promote, restore and even maintain the health of the patients by providing the holistic services within the capability of the hospital staff and facilities. This unit provides primary services to adult and geriatric population admitted to 6 East. The scope of practice includes providing medical treatments or medical service consults and optional specialty designations include Cardiac, GI, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Oncology, Renal or Respiratory. These professional services are offered in a caring and compassionate manner.
