In this role you will care for critically-ill patients in our 25-bed Medical Stepdown Unit. Join our team of highly-skilled clinicians providing specialized nursing care, including ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of vasoactive medications. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain).
  • BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of RN experience in acute care.
  • 1 year of RN stepdown/telemetry experience.
  • ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Care for critically-ill patients in the Medical Stepdown Unit.
  • Provide specialized nursing care including ventilator management.
  • Monitor cardiac conditions and administer vasoactive medications.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient care experience.
